To infinity and beyond.

As someone who grew up with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Timon & Puumba and so on, I will never be too old for Disneyland. When I was little, my parents (Asians really have a thing for theme parks) took me to Disneyland Paris several times and I have very fond memories of those visits. Lucky for me, Hong Kong has a small Disneyland (which is by the way trilingual: English, Cantonese and Mandarin). Where else to spin yourself dizzy in a teacup, ride through space and hum along to the songs of your childhood?

Many people told me Disneyland HK wouldn’t be worth the money – yes, it’s small compared to those in Los Angeles and Paris, but anyone who likes Disney and theme parks should come on a weekday and the queues are going to be small and the streets clean. Plus fireworks at 8pm!
